Instructional Clinics Try Me Week
6 a.m. – 9 p.m. | Student Recreation Center
Not sure which clinic to take? Try one, two or as many as you would like for FREE during TRY ME WEEK. Each clinic will be offering a demo of the regularly scheduled class. All instructional clinics will be available. So try one (or four) to find the clinic that is right for you. Classes offered daily.

Ask Me Booths
8 a.m. – 5 p.m. | Various Locations
Trying to find your way around? Stop by one of the Ask Me Booths located around campus during the first week of classes. Faculty, staff and students will be on hand to guide you with directions and maps, plus you’ll get a Georgia State freebie!  Sponsored by Student Involvement.
Mega Enrollment Services Center
8:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. | Student Center Ballroom
The Mega Enrollment Services Center is a centralized enrollment services center where new students can receive assistance with all their enrollment needs, as well as additional support for getting off to a successful start at Georgia State. Services include: Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Registrar, Immunization, University Housing, Auxiliary and Support Services, Bookstore, and Information Systems & Technology.  Bookstore pick-up will be available until 7 p.m. Sponsored by Enrollment Services.
Food & Toiletry Drive
8:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. | Various Locations
The Office of the Dean of Students will host a food and toiletry drive to stock items that will assist students in need.  Bins will be placed in designated Student Affairs offices to collect items during the first two weeks of school (August 24  – September 4, 2015).  You may drop off donations at any designated location between 8:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m., Monday – Friday. Items to donate include but are not limited to:

  • Non -perishables
    • canned goods (vegetables, fruit, soups, meat)
    • ramen noodles
    • crackers
    • peanut butter
    • snack items (granola/cereal/protein bars)
    • eating utensils (plastic ware, paper plates)
  • Personal toiletries (including travel sizes)
    • shampoo
    • deodorant (men’s and women’s)
    • feminine hygiene products
    • toothpaste
    • toothbrushes
    • soap
    • lotion
